About Underwater Wisdom

“It feels like holding your breath in a moment you don't want to end.”

People often say they feel “underwater” when they’re overwhelmed—when life is too much, too fast, too loud. But for me, being underwater has always meant something else entirely.

I’ve spent a lifetime in the water—snorkeling, SCUBA diving, and playng underwater hockey. Down there, everything changes. The world goes quiet. Time stretches. You move in three dimensions—fluid, weightless—more like flying than swimming. Breath becomes rhythm. Focus becomes sensation. You’re no longer chasing the moment. You’re inside it.

Underwater Wisdom is about that kind of presence. It’s where we explore the deep, not to escape—but to return more fully. It’s a space to write, to heal, to feel your way forward. And it’s a place to be witnessed—just as you are, with gentleness, spaciousness, and care.

I work with people navigating memory, trauma, and change. Many are writing their stories. Some are rediscovering their voice. All are welcome here.

This is my invitation for you to dive in gently together.
